Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics, Inc. in Brisbane, CA is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, end-user services, and IT service management as one integrated scope.

You will partner with a fractional CISO and collaborate with R&D and scientific computing to align IT with research needs. You will build and manage a hybrid team of staff and MSP partners, set standards, and own IAM, vendor governance, and service experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive technology services leadership, including 5+ years at Director level.
• Direct experience leading infrastructure, cyber operations, and ITSM as one integrated scope.
• Proven ability partnering with a CISO on policy while owning execution.
• Experience with AWS plus Entra/Microsoft 365 stack.
• Familiarity with scientific/ML computing infra and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, end user services, and ITSM as one integrated scope.
• Consolidate MSPs and vendors, build a governance model with research computing, and align IT with R&D needs.
• Own IAM program and vendor management; refresh service experience end to end.
• Manage a hybrid team of staff and MSPs and set standards for delivery.
