Job summary

SynergenX Health Holdings LLC is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead our IT team, fortify infrastructure, and safeguard systems. The role requires hands-on leadership of IT operations, security, and software development priorities to support company growth.

Responsibilities include setting IT strategy, managing budgets, and guiding major projects while working closely with executives and department heads. Onsite, in Northwest Houston, with travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or related field; 10+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading IT teams, infrastructure, operations, and complex technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security protocols, systems administration, and technical support.
• Experience with Fortinet products beyond FortiGate (Secure SD-WAN, FortiSASE, FortiGuard IPS, FortiProxy, FortiMail).
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, software licensing, competing priorities, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop the IT strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Set priorities, goals, and timelines for IT operations and software development.
• Oversee IT budgeting and vendor relationships; manage annual operating plan.
• Lead IT security, disaster recovery planning, and compliance initiatives.
• Direct IT projects from research to retirement, tracking progress and communicating updates.
