Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics is seeking an operating leader for IT infrastructure and operations in Brisbane, CA. You will own the function end to end: infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, end user services, and IT service management as one integrated scope.

You partner with a fractional CISO on security strategy and policy while owning the operational execution. You work closely with the IT business partner leaders who own the application portfolios and partner directly with R&D and the broader

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Own IT infrastructure and operations end to end, including infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, end user services, and IT service management.
Lead a hybrid team of internal staff and MSPs; set standards and delegate delivery to empower others.
Consolidate MSP portfolio across infrastructure, security, and help desk into a smaller, accountable set of partners.
Build cybersecurity operations function from contractor and MDR coverage.
Establish governance with R&D and scientific computing; align research infrastructure with IT; inventory and remediate AWS systems (ParallelCluster, HPC, SageMaker, EKS, ECS).
Own identity and access management program and smooth handoffs to IT operations and business partners.
