Job summary

Maritz is seeking a Sr. Director of Information Technology to lead the engineering team behind Rewards and Fulfillment platforms, including catalogs, redemption, and integrations. This hybrid role is based in Fenton, MO with in-person Tue–Thu collaboration.

You will shape technology strategy, mentor 10+ staff, manage key client relationships, and drive AI-assisted development while ensuring security and compliance across the stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 5+ years managing managers or multi-team technology organizations.
• Experience leading technology teams supporting commerce, rewards, loyalty, or fulfillment platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of modern cloud architectures and integration patterns.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools; understanding of responsible AI in an enterprise context.
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC 2).
• Strong executive presence with proven ability to manage client relationships and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define technology strategy for Rewards, Fulfillment, and Commerce platforms and set architecture direction.
• Lead a team of 10+ staff; mentor managers and architects and promote agile adoption.
• Direct contact with Operations and Executive Management; manage key stakeholder needs and escalations.
• Oversee governance, security posture, vendor relationships, and department budget.
