McKesson Corporation is seeking a Sr. Director, Financial Reporting in Richmond, VA. This hybrid role leads the MMS financial reporting function, ensuring U.S. GAAP and SEC compliance as the company prepares for stand-alone operations and an IPO.

You will drive reporting processes, governance, and automation, partnering across Finance, Legal and Investor Relations, while guiding a high-performing team through complex regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 6+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, close and consolidations, and technical accounting.
• Experience supporting IPO or stand-alone public company readiness preferred.
• Experience supporting public company audits and regulator-reviewed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead MMS financial reporting function and establish processes for independent public company operations.
• Oversee preparation and review of MMS financial statements and disclosures under US GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Drive automation and scalability of reporting processes and governance.
• Lead separation-related reporting workstreams including carve-out and stand-alone statements.
• Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, and executive leadership on external communications and disclosures.
• Build and develop a high-performing reporting team and ensure regulatory compliance.
