Job summary

McKesson in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sr. Director of Financial Reporting to lead the MMS financial reporting function, drive GAAP compliance, and ensure SEC disclosures for a potential stand‑alone public company.

This role will guide the separation from McKesson, build scalable reporting processes, manage a high‑performing team, and partner with Legal, Investor Relations and External Audit to support IPO readiness and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive accounting experience including public company exposure.
• 6+ years of people leadership experience and team development.
• CPA certification and Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead MMS financial reporting, GAAP, SEC disclosures.
• Oversee standalone/ carve-out financial statements and audits.
• Prepare 10-K/10-Q/8-K and future SEC filings.
• Establish governance, controls and disclosure procedures.
• Partner with Legal, Investor Relations, and Audit committees.
