Job summary

Fitch Ratings, Inc. in New York is seeking a Senior Director to head our Insurance BRM team. You will lead a focused group, develop insurance company relationships, and drive marketing and ratings engagements across the US, Canada, Bermuda and Cayman Islands.

You will build and sustain strategic relationships with issuers and bankers, lead market analyses, and coordinate messaging with BRM colleagues across regions. Travel will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in insurance or credit markets, or related banking/BD roles focused on insurance.
• Senior sales, marketing and relationship management experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead a small team and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Generate opportunities and pursue new insurance market business.
• Manage external relationships with issuers and bankers for marketing and ratings engagements.
• Lead market and pipeline analysis, craft client messaging and presentations.
• Oversee outreach strategy, budgeting, and issuer contracts to minimize churn.
• Coordinate with BRM teams in New York and EMEA; support marketing and events.
