Fitch Ratings in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Director to lead the US CMBS Business Relationship Management team. You will build and manage relationships with issuers, bankers and asset managers to expand ratings coverage and drive revenue growth.

The role combines strategic development, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration—travel as needed, with a hybrid work model offering on-site and remote elements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics.
• 10+ years in CMBS or Structured Finance with business development experience.
• Proven external relationship management with issuers, bankers and asset managers.
• Willingness to travel for meetings and conferences; strong senior-level communication.
• Team oriented with internal and external relationship building.
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, screen, and pursue CMBS opportunities; originate mandates and negotiate engagements.
• Serve as senior relationship manager for issuers, bankers and asset managers to expand market share.
• Analyze pipeline and market data; support budgeting and strategic planning.
• Develop marketing materials and participate in CMBS events and client entertainment.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Events teams and promote Fitch products and research.
