Job summary

Fitch Group in New York seeks a Senior Director to head the Insurance Business and Relationship Management (BRM) team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining insurance company relationships to market Fitch Ratings services, with coverage across the US, Canada, Bermuda and Cayman Islands.

The candidate will lead a small team, report to the BRM North American Head of Financial Institutions, and drive new rating mandates through strategic relationship management and targeted outreach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in insurance sector or credit markets with senior sales/relationship experience.
• Strong leadership, marketing and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Head the Insurance BRM team in New York and lead client relationship development.
• Generate insurance rating mandates through targeted outreach to issuers and bankers.
• Oversee market analysis, client presentations and post-meeting follow-ups.
• Coordinate with BRM colleagues in New York and EMEA to align messaging and targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Events on insurance industry engagements.
