Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Senior Director of Sales to drive revenue, margin, and order flow through focused plant-aligned sales execution and pricing discipline.

This role coordinates between customers and manufacturing operations, and leads inside sales, customer service, and commercial planning. The position requires deep experience in manufacturing sales, pricing, and contract negotiations, with a track record in metals or aerospace-related markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing-based sales or commercial leadership.
• Experience in metals, forgings, machining, industrial components, or heavy manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Experience supporting aerospace or industrial customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with plant capacity, capabilities, and margin objectives.
• Lead inside sales, customer service, and sales operations teams.
• Own pricing strategy and margin performance; ensure profitability targets.
• Negotiate contracts across multiple sites to maximize profit and market share.
• Drive forecast accuracy and demand planning with plant production planning.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
