Job summary

Mars Snacking is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to define and execute Mars Snacking’s inorganic growth strategy. You will work with the SVP of Business Development, Leadership Team, and Mars Corporate colleagues to identify acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and divestitures that drive growth and portfolio optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in external or in-house consulting, investment banking or other finance/strategy roles.
• Strategic mindset with experience building and executing strategic frameworks.
• Strong program/project management skills.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities.
• Excellent financial acumen.
• Understanding of the M&A environment, ideally in Mars categories (CPG/services).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across the organization.
• Willingness to travel at least 20%.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Mars Snacking’s inorganic strategy with leadership.
• Lead ideation, development and execution of strategic inorganic projects.
• Shape inorganic priorities across geographies, divisions and brands.
• Develop business cases and projections for live transactions and support due diligence.
• Build and maintain a global network with potential partners or acquisition targets.
• Facilitate connectivity across Mars functions to provide strategic support.
• Contribute to trainings and participate in talent recruitment.
