Job summary

Barnard College is seeking a Senior Associate Director, Individual Giving to lead a portfolio of donors, drive annual revenue, and coordinate with alumnae volunteers and the AABC Annual Giving Committee. This role reports to the Senior Director of Individual Giving and partners with the Barnard Advancement team.

The position focuses on developing annual giving strategies, managing Giving Day with Columbia, and achieving specific dollar and participation targets across assigned groups.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years progressive fundraising experience in higher education or non-profit organization; work with alumnae volunteers.
• Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Manage a donor portfolio and develop solicitation strategies.
• Campus Lead, Annual Giving Fundraisers: Coordinate Giving Day with Barnard and Columbia team.
• Fundraising Strategy: Lead the team to meet annual goals.
• Volunteer Management: Recruit/train volunteers and prepare materials.
• Administration: Develop fundraising programs and alumnae committees.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with Advancement, Alumnae Relations, Communications, and Special Events.
