Job summary

Barnard College is seeking an Associate Director of Individual Giving to manage a donor portfolio and drive annual revenue. You will lead solicitation efforts, collaborate with volunteers, and coordinate events for alumnae groups as part of the Barnard Advancement team.

You will work under the Senior Director of Individual Giving, contribute to annual giving strategies, and help plan cultivation events and webinars that engage graduates and supporters across designated class years.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and oral communication; diplomacy and tact.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a portfolio of donors/prospects and develop solicitation strategies.
• Set portfolio and class goals to meet annual fundraising targets.
• Coordinate alumnae fundraising volunteers and materials; train volunteers.
• Lead Annual Fund Leadership Giving Society events and webinars; support reunion activities.
• Collaborate with Advancement colleagues across departments.
