Job summary

Barnard College seeks an Associate Director of Individual Giving to drive annual revenue and alumnae participation. You will manage a portfolio of about 150 donors, develop solicitation strategies, and lead volunteers for class years and reunion groups.

You will help set fundraising targets, coordinate a Leadership Giving Society, and collaborate with Advancement colleagues to plan events and campaigns that strengthen donor engagement and impact.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of fundraising experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using donor databases (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and VMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a donor portfolio of ~150 donors/prospects and develop solicitation strategies for annual gifts and upgraded levels.
• Set portfolio and class goals to meet annual fundraising targets.
• Recruit/train volunteers, prepare materials, and support class dollar and participation goals.
• Coordinate the Annual Fund Leadership Giving Society activities, webinars, events, and reunion brunch.
• Collaborate with Advancement teams (Alumnae Relations, Communications, Special Events) to drive cross-departmental initiatives.
