Job summary

Community Connections seeks a Sr. Director of Housing & Property Management to lead a multi-site housing portfolio, including 46 agency-owned and leased properties, and subsidy programs.

Hybrid work arrangement with executive-level responsibilities in asset management, financial accountability, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes safeguarding real estate investments, improving operational efficiency, and coordinating housing operations with clinical services to promote housing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/real estate or related field.
• Experience in affordable/housing or property management preferred.
• Leadership experience with staff supervision and policy implementation.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for housing portfolio and subsidy programs.
• Lead staff, set priorities, and ensure adherence to policies.
• Oversee budgets, rent collections, arrears, and housing payments reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, DC laws, ADA, and housing codes.
• Coordinate cross-departmental efforts between Housing, Facilities, Finance, and Clinical Services.
• Manage HUD HCVP inspections, voucher administration, and eligibility determinations.
• Develop strategic plans, process improvements, and professional development.
