Job summary

Community Connections, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Housing and Property Management to lead housing operations, asset management, and subsidy administration for 46 agency-owned and leased properties.

The role oversees staff, budget controls, regulatory compliance, and coordinated care with clinical services to advance housing stability and quality of life for individuals and families served by the agency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, real estate, social services, or related field.
• At least 10 years in affordable/subsidized housing or property management, including 5 in leadership.
• Experience with Housing Choice Voucher or HUD-assisted programs.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, and audit-readiness skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and Yardi; ability to manage diverse housing operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for housing operations, asset management, and subsidy administration.
• Direct portfolio operations and ensure quality service delivery across properties.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop staff; set priorities and performance expectations.
• Coordinate across Housing, Facilities, Finance, and Clinical Services for timely issue resolution.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, rent collections, and housing-related revenue and costs.
• Oversee regulatory compliance with federal and local housing laws and standards.
• Monitor performance metrics (vacancies, maintenance, inspections, subsidy utilization).
• Lead audits and corrective actions; ensure audit-ready records.
