Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead GTM platforms strategy, architecture, and operations. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to modernize systems that support the customer and revenue lifecycle.

The role oversees platforms like Salesforce, Clari, and Eloqua, driving secure, scalable tech and AI-enabled experiences through projects such as Nova. You will mentor leaders and build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience across GTM platforms, sales engagement, or marketing apps.
• Experience in global or matrixed orgs with cross-functional influence.
• Strong operational and analytical acumen with data-driven decision making.
• Proven success in transformational initiatives with senior stakeholders.
• Executive presence and strong written/verbal communication for VP-levels.
• Ability to develop leaders and build an accountable culture.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering strategy and multi-year roadmap for GTM platforms aligned to business priorities.
• Lead platform design, integrations, automation, data quality, security, and ops.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and measurable platform roadmaps.
• Modernize lead-to-cash through projects like Nova, improving demand, pipeline, and pricing.
• Establish platform standards and governance for reliability, security, and agility.
• Guide AI adoption and automation across GTM workflows and systems of record.
• Build and maintain partnerships with Sales, Marketing, BD, Renewals, Finance, Product, and Tech.
• Build and retain a high-performing engineering org; foster accountability and inclusion.
• Manage vendor relationships, capacity, risks, and delivery performance.
• Track platform health and outcomes to guide investments.
