Job summary

UKG is seeking a Sr. Director, Software Engineering to lead GTM platform strategy and operations, interfacing with Sales, Marketing, and Product. You will drive multi-year roadmaps, governance, and platform modernization spanning Salesforce, Clari, Eloqua integrations, and data services.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration across global teams, governance, and the application of AI to improve lead-to-cash workflows while maintaining security and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in leadership across GTM platforms, sales engagement, customer experience, or marketing applications within enterprise SaaS or technology organizations.
• Experience leading in a global or matrixed organization with cross-functional influence across geographies.
• Strong operational and analytical acumen with data-driven decision making.
• Proven track record of transforming platforms and enabling governance.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering strategy and multi-year GTM platform roadmap.
• Lead platform design, development, integrations, automation, data quality, security, and operations.
• Translate business needs into platform roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Modernize the lead-to-cash experience (e.g., Project Nova) for demand and pipeline management.
• Establish platform standards and governance to improve reliability, security, and data consistency.
• Guide AI and automation adoption in GTM workflows across systems of record.
• Build partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Renewals, Finance, Product, and Tech.
• Build and retain a high-performing engineering organization with inclusive culture.
• Manage vendor relationships, third-party support, budgets, risks, and delivery performance.
• Track platform health and outcomes to guide investment decisions.
