Ladders is seeking a Senior Director, Global SME Solutions Architecture to lead a global specialist organization guiding technical evaluation, customer engagement, and go-to-market execution across enterprise software motions.

The role partners with Product Management, Engineering, regional field leadership, and Customer Success to scale teams, standardize engagement models, and drive organizational change.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of second-line leadership in Solutions Architecture or Sales Engineering.
• Experience building or scaling specialist teams in enterprise SaaS or DevSecOps.
• Ability to link technical team design to business outcomes with data.
• Strong relationships with Product and Engineering leadership, with influence over roadmaps.
• Fluency in software development lifecycle, application security, and cloud platforms.

• Set strategy and global standards for the SME organization aligned with the go-to-market plan.
• Build a resourcing model based on product bookings and regional needs.
• Act as a senior partner to Product Management and Engineering, facilitating feedback loops.
• Hire, mentor, and develop regional SME Managers into effective leaders.
• Own engagement models with regional SME Senior Directors and Customer Success teams.
• Create and enhance processes and metrics for SME-led technical evaluations and demos.
• Drive organizational transformation by identifying gaps and leading change.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Global SME Solutions Architecture to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This leader will guide a global specialist organization that supports technical evaluation, customer engagement, and go-to-market execution across enterprise software motions. The role will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, regional field leadership, and Customer Success to strengthen feedback loops and improve business outcomes. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity focused on scaling technical teams, standardizing engagement models, and driving organizational change.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $244,200 – $409,500 annually

Responsibilities
