Job summary

Indiana University Foundation seeks a Senior Director of Development to translate the School's mission into philanthropic opportunities. This leader will shape a comprehensive fundraising strategy, cultivate relationships with donors, and work closely with the Dean and leadership across Indiana University.

The role will expand engagement in Washington, D.C., create internships, and support programs in cybersecurity, policy, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7 years fundraising or relevant experience in complex organizations, including major gift development.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for HLS.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and partners in the U.S. and globally.
• Collaborate with the Dean, school leadership, faculty and colleagues across IU.
• Expand HLS presence in Washington, D.C. and internship opportunities; support programs in key areas.
• Lead major gift solicitation and prepare transformative gift proposals; manage donor pipelines.
