Indiana University Foundation (IUF) seeks a Senior Director of Development to translate the Hamilton Lugar School’s mission into philanthropic opportunities and to shape a comprehensive fundraising strategy. You will cultivate donors and partners in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree highly preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in fundraising or relevant experience in complex organizations, including major gift development.
• Experience in a large, complex matrixed environment with strategic planning and action plan implementation.

Responsibilities

• Translate the School’s mission into philanthropic opportunities; shape a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and partners in the U.S. and globally.
• Lead fundraising campaigns, coordinating with academic leaders and gift proposals.
• Collaborate with the Dean and school leadership, navigating cross-cultural opportunities.
• Promote collaboration across advancement disciplines and maintain confidential donor information.
