Job summary

University of Southern Indiana seeks an Assistant Director of Development to cultivate annual, major, and planned gifts and to manage the annual giving programs for the USI Foundation. This exempt, professional role is based in Evansville, Indiana and focuses on donor engagement, content creation, and online fundraising strategies.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead multi-channel campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Two to four years of related work experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills required.
• Ability to work independently with high degree of initiative required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, design, and implement annual giving campaigns.
• Implement comprehensive annual giving efforts, including personalized emails and calls and stewardship touchpoints.
• Develop and execute targeted solicitations for donor audiences and fundraising objectives.
• Cultivate and solicit gifts across all levels of the gift process with regular donor interactions.
• Manage the USI Foundation website and social media accounts; oversee digital fundraising efforts.
