Qualifications

• Typically requires 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related fields, with significant leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-level communication strategies in a complex, regulated environment.
• Demonstrated success advising senior and executive leadership.
• Strong experience managing internal and external communications, including media relations and change communications.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead global corporate communications strategy to support business objectives, brand positioning, and transformation.
• Advise executive leadership on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and reputational risk.
• Oversee internal communications to drive employee engagement and alignment with priorities and values.
• Lead external communications, including corporate announcements, media relations, and thought leadership.
• Manage crisis and issues communications with timely, accurate responses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Regulatory, Marketing, and Business Leaders to ensure messaging accuracy and compliance.
• Build and develop a high-performing communications team and manage agency partnerships as needed.
• Ensure all communications align with Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and leadership expectations.
