  • Proven experience leading enterprise-level communication strategies in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated success advising senior and executive leadership.
  • Strong experience managing internal and external communications, including media relations and change communications.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Preferred: Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the global corporate communications strategy to support DePuy Synthes’ business objectives, brand positioning, and organizational transformation.
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to executive leadership, providing counsel on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and reputational risk.
  • Oversee internal communications to drive employee engagement, change adoption, and alignment with company priorities and values.
  • Lead external communications, including corporate announcements, media relations, executive communications, and thought leadership.
  • Manage crisis and issues communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and coordinated responses.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Regulatory, Marketing, and Business Leaders to ensure messaging accuracy and compliance.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing communications team and manage agency partnerships as needed.

Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for the best talent to join their team as a Sr. Director, Corporate Communications. This role has a preferred location of Raynham, Massachusetts, but consideration will be given to West Chester, Pennsylvania or our New Jersey office locations. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Pay Transparency

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $178,000.00 - $307,050.00
