Job summary

Reserv Claims Analysis, LLC is seeking a Director, Financial Operations to own the loss fund function across the U.S. and Lloyd's markets, ensuring client money remains accurate, compliant, and trusted.

You will design the control environment, lead two pillars (Fund Operations & Reconciliation; Governance), manage banking relationships, and partner with engineering, data, and product to scale the function and meet regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial operations, treasury, or loss fund management.
• 3+ years leading leaders (managers or senior leads).
• Ownership of a financial controls environment, including SOD and sign-off.
• Deep knowledge of loss fund mechanics, U.S. trust accounts, and Lloyd's funds.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and U.S. state DOI readiness (FCA knowledge a plus).
• Experience banking relationships and payment-partner operations.
• Proven ability to interact with senior leadership across functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for non-financial audiences.
• Advanced Excel and BI tools (Looker/Tableau) and SQL ability.
• Experience with Snapsheet is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the loss fund financial operations function across the U.S. and Lloyd's markets.
• Lead two pillars: Fund Operations & Reconciliation and Governance.
• Set operating model, staffing, and performance standards for the function.
• Act as primary financial escalation point for client disputes.
• Design and maintain internal controls, thresholds, and audit support.
• Own banking relationships, liquidity oversight, and PTF compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness across jurisdictions.
• Lead technology recommendations and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data.
