Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Director of Financial Operations to own the loss fund function across the U.S. and Lloyd's markets, setting strategy and controlling processes to keep client funds accurate and compliant. You will lead two pillars, govern banking relationships, and drive audits while scaling the operation.

You will report to senior leadership, build a high-impact team, and be the escalation point for financial concerns, with a focus on governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial operations, treasury, or loss fund management.
• 3+ years leading managers or senior leads across time zones.
• Ownership of a financial controls environment with reconciliation and audits.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. trust accounts and Lloyd's-related funds.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory reporting experience.
• Experience with banking relationships and payment-partner ops.
• Ability to communicate complex financial info to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the loss fund operations function across U.S. and Lloyd's markets.
• Lead two pillars: Fund Operations & Reconciliation and Governance.
• Set operating model, staffing, and performance standards for the function.
• Act as primary financial escalation point for client disputes.
• Design and maintain internal controls, including dual authorization and SOD.
• Own banking relationships, liquidity oversight, and trust fund handling.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Recommend technology to improve reconciliation and reporting efficiency.
