Job summary

California State University, Fresno is seeking a Financial Aid Assistant Director to lead the Financial Aid and Scholarships office’s processing operations. You will supervise teams ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of high-volume financial aid tasks and work closely with the team that maintains system functionality.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college/university in a related field.
• At least four years of progressively responsible experience in financial aid administration with processing, systems operations, compliance, or related area.
• Preferred: Master’s degree; experience with PeopleSoft; supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations for the office's processing functions and oversee high-volume financial aid processes.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into system configurations and staff procedures.
• Ensure accurate awarding, disbursement, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership and supervise teams.
