Job summary
Carl Zeiss SMT is seeking a senior leader for Head of Business Development & Field Marketing in the SFS group. You will serve as the regional interface to customers, translate insights into product opportunities, and drive regional go-to-market initiatives.
You will develop customer relationships, guide cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and HQ, and lead regional product introductions and strategic partnerships to accelerate growth.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering, natural sciences, or related STEM discipline.
- PhD and/or business qualification (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
- 10+ years of technical and commercial experience are expected.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary regional interface between Semiconductor Frontend Solutions (SFS) and semiconductor customers in the SSC.
- Identify growth opportunities and regional initiatives, aligning with Sales, Strategic Marketing, and FoBs.
- Translate customer pain points into opportunities for SFS products, solutions, and collaborations.
- Monitor regional customer processes and technology trends relevant to the SFS portfolio.
- Lead customer-facing solution development and regional new product introductions with local teams and HQ.
- Provide regional market input for business reviews, technology roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies.
- Establish and lead the Business Development & Field Marketing department, defining structure and KPIs.
