Job summary

Cherokee Federal seeks a Senior Director of Growth for the Salesforce Practice to lead expansion across federal civilian, DoD, and state/local markets. You will own the opportunity pipeline, qualification, prioritization, forecasting, and reporting while guiding large-scale pursuits and mentoring teams on smaller orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum ten (10) years in Salesforce or similar low-code/no-code environment oriented to public sector BD, capture, and proposals.
• Demonstrated success capturing and winning U.S. federal government contracts.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and contract vehicles (IDIQ, BPA, GWAC).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic opportunity development and execution to expand Cherokee Federal's federal Salesforce portfolio.
• Leverage government stakeholders and industry influencers to identify and accelerate growth opportunities.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive BD pipeline and account growth strategy for federal clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with public sector Salesforce Account Executives and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Practice leadership to target federal accounts and prioritize pursuits.
• Shape opportunities using market intelligence and procurement data.
• Apply Salesforce knowledge to help address mission challenges for federal customers.
• Lead federal capture and proposal efforts, including strategy and positioning for civilian and DoD.
• Direct proposal activities to ensure compliance with solicitations and evaluation criteria.
• Provide leadership across capture, proposal, and delivery teams; mentor BD and proposal staff.
• Author proposal content including Technical Approaches, Staffing and Management Plans, and Executive Summaries.
