SOME (So Others Might Eat) in Washington, DC, seeks a Deputy Chief Director, Facilities Management to lead building upkeep, safety, and operations across SO-office properties. You will guide a team, align maintenance with program goals, and drive efficiency across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration is required.
• 6–8 years of Facilities Management experience in multi-site housing or residential facilities.
• 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate maintenance and construction plans and processes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor purchases and maintain inventory records.
• Establish on-site depots and inventory systems.
• Maintain Work Order System and ensure maintenance and work schedules are followed.
• Process invoices according to schedule and ensure proper allocation of funds by department or building.
• Manage room turnover and major repairs in SOME housing.
• Provide technical, safety, and service training to staff.
• Develop project management program and develop personnel.
• Develop facilities operations policies and procedures.
