Herc Rentals is seeking a senior leader to define and drive the enterprise talent management and leadership development strategy across North America. You will partner with senior leaders to implement scalable programs that ensure a strong leadership bench, alignment with business goals, and measurable outcomes.

The role focuses on succession planning, leadership development, data-driven insights, and integrating AI-enabled transformation into people strategies. Location is in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10 years of enterprise-level talent management/people & culture strategy experience.
• Proven ability to manage talent management frameworks, systems, and leadership development programs.
• Strong track record in organization design, leadership succession strategies, and development initiatives.
• Experience bringing modern learning strategies and AI/digital concepts to life in a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shaping the People & Culture strategy as a Talent Leadership Team member.
• Own and operationalize enterprise talent management framework and processes (talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development).
• Translate business strategy into talent management priorities and measurable outcomes with cross-functional partners.
• Improve use of workforce data; support internal mobility and internal talent visibility.
• Develop internal talent by creating career pathways and priority experiences; strengthen bench strength.
