Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Director, Corporate Risk & Insurance to design and manage the company’s risk management and insurance programs. You will handle enterprise-wide renewals, negotiate with insurers and brokers, and oversee self-insured and captive activities with actuaries and third-party administrators.

The role requires a strong background in risk management, 10+ years in the field, and expertise in MS Office and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in risk management, insurance company or brokerage.
• MS Office and database systems proficiency.
• Professional affiliations (ARM, CPCU, Licenses) preferred.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong time and project management abilities to handle multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, implement and manage enterprise risk and insurance programs.
• Oversee insurance renewals, negotiations with carriers, brokers and vendors.
• Manage self-insured casualty program with actuaries and third-party admins.
• Lead reserve analysis with actuaries for self-insurance risks.
• Oversee captive program and audits with regulators and auditors.
• Communicate coverage needs and exposures to business units and Treasury.
