Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise-wide governance for cost, schedule, and commercial controls across a large portfolio. You will modernize platforms, drive integrated reporting, and enable predictive insights with cross-functional teams.

You will guide a distributed team, partner with leadership, and manage design-build and alternative delivery projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree optional.
• 15+ years of related experience in project controls or similar leadership roles.
• PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy and governance across units and regions.
• Establish controls for design-build and other delivery models from planning to closeout.
• Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, VAR, and contract administration processes.
• Develop dashboards and predictive analytics for margin, cash flow, and risk.
• Lead digital transformation of platforms, workflows, and reporting.
• Set document control standards and cross-functional collaboration.
• Build and guide a distributed team of schedulers and cost controllers.
