Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise governance for a large portfolio of projects across municipal, industrial, and federal clients. This role will modernize controls platforms, automate reporting, and drive predictive insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required;15+ years of related experience preferred.
Experience leading project controls for large, complex enterprise initiatives.
Knowledge of integrated design-build and alternate delivery models.
Proven success with digital project controls, analytics, and AI-enabled reporting.
Ability to translate data into executive-level decisions and actions.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance.
Establish controls for design-build and other delivery models across regions.
Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, and forecasting, including EV/MS scheduling.
Develop dashboards and predictive insights for margin and delivery risk.
Lead modernization of controls platforms and workflows in partnership with Tech teams.
Build and mentor a distributed team of schedulers, cost controllers, and document specialists.
