Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development - Merchant to define and lead the merchant strategy for Paze. You will drive enterprise merchant acquisition, build senior-level relationships, and align cross-functional teams to deliver growth.

You will lead a merchant BD team, partner with product, marketing, finance, and risk, and shape go-to-market priorities. Travel up to 50% and operate in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, marketing, technology, or related field.
• 15+ years progressive experience in consultative sales, strategic business development, merchant services, or payments.
• Experience leading enterprise merchant sales within eCommerce or fintech environments.
• Proven ability to win relationships with senior executives at large merchants.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the merchant business development strategy, priorities, and objectives.
• Develop annual and multi-year sales plans to acquire strategic enterprise merchants.
• Lead a team responsible for pipeline, opportunity development, negotiation, and acquisition.
• Establish executive relationships across merchant payments, product, finance, and risk.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, channel partnerships, and customer integration to drive launches.
