Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations is seeking a senior communications leader to develop and implement enterprise-wide communications strategies. You will oversee public relations, media relations, and social media teams, coordinating with internal partners and external contractors to advance organizational priorities.

The role requires 10+ years in healthcare communications, a strong track record, and exceptional written and verbal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years' proven experience in healthcare public relations, communications and/or integrated marketing communications positions.
• Demonstrated track record of success creating and managing communication goals and campaigns.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Creates enterprise-wide communications strategies and plans.
• Develops talking points, news releases, op-eds, advocacy resources, multimedia content.
• Manages public disclosure of information to the public, leaders and policymakers.
• Oversees PR for Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety and the Department of Research.
• Directs inbound and proactive media outreach, including crisis preparedness and response.
• Directs social media strategy and execution.
• Engages with outside organizations to maximize impact and reach.
• Works with marketing to ensure integrated communications.
• Champions enterprise messaging and positioning.
• Collaborates with outside PR firms to implement strategies.
• Measures and reports results; updates materials based on data.
• Supervises direct reports to high performance.
