Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations seeks a Senior Director, State Engagement to lead strategy and relationships with state governments, health departments, Medicaid offices and state hospital associations. You will guide a team of policy experts and collaborate with enterprise leadership to advance accreditation initiatives.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 15+ years in state relations with healthcare policy focus, plus strong communication and program

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public policy, public health, government affairs or law.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in state relations, with at least 5 years focused on healthcare policy.
• Hands-on approach to leading a team of state relations and health policy experts.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• State Government and Policy Engagement: lead strategic relationship building with state governments, health departments, legislatures, Medicaid offices, and state associations.
• Strategic Development: identify opportunities and barriers at the state level relevant to accreditation and healthcare policy.
• Leadership: manage state engagement staff and represent the organization at meetings and conferences.
• Align state engagement goals with Government Relations and enterprise strategies.
