Job summary

Joint Commission International seeks an accomplished communications leader to develop and execute enterprise-wide strategies, oversee public relations, media relations, and social media programs, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

Reporting to the Chief Brand & Communications Officer, you will guide crisis communications, create talking points and news materials, manage relationships with the media and stakeholders, and measure outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.
• Minimum of 10 years in healthcare public relations, communications or integrated marketing communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise-wide communications strategies and plans to meet organizational needs.
• Develop and manage talking points, news releases, op-eds and multimedia content.
• Lead media relations, public disclosures and crisis communication activities.
• Oversee social media strategy and execution; manage relationships with media and stakeholders.
