Job summary

Cvent is seeking a strategic Senior Director/Director, Corporate Communications to lead integrated programs that strengthen our brand and align communications with business goals.

You will own PR, media relations, social media, and internal communications, partnering with senior leaders to translate vision into compelling, on-brand messaging. Based in the DC metro area, this hybrid role requires leadership of teams and cross-functional influence across Marketing, Product, and Sales.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications and related leadership roles.
• Experience managing media strategy, PR programs, and executive-level communications.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to translate complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute Cvent's PR strategy across narratives and milestones.
• Lead US and European PR agencies, set priorities, measure outcomes.
• Drive internal communications and executive messaging for leadership.
• Prepare briefings, talking points, and speeches for executives.
• Support crisis communications and media relations across regions.
