Executive Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of E-Commerce to lead our digital marketing and online revenue initiatives. This role is responsible for driving direct bookings, optimizing online distribution, and managing digital advertising strategies across multiple hotel brands, with a strong focus on Marriott and Hilton branded systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in brand.com websites, OTA advertising, metasearch, and digital marketing strategies, ensuring maximum online visibility and revenue generation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive E-Commerce strategy to drive direct bookings and optimize online revenue performance.
  • Leverage Marriott and Hilton brand platforms (e.g., Marriott Digital Services (MDS), Hilton’s Digital Optimization, and proprietary booking engines) to maximize exposure and conversion.
  • Partner with revenue management, marketing, and brand teams to implement digital initiatives that align with business goals.

Website & Digital Presence Management:

  • Manage and optimize brand.com websites, ensuring content accuracy, SEO optimization, and conversion improvements.
  • Oversee brand-sponsored digital programs and liaise with Marriott and Hilton corporate teams to enhance digital performance.
  • Identify opportunities for website enhancements, landing pages, and digital merchandising strategies.
  • Develop and execute OTA advertising strategies, leveraging platforms like Expedia Travel Ads, Booking.com Sponsored Ads, and Google Hotel Ads to drive incremental revenue.
  • Optimize metasearch campaigns to improve visibility and drive direct bookings.
  • Monitor rate, parity, and channel performance to ensure brand compliance and profitability.

Paid Media & Digital Advertising:

  • Lead digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and programmatic advertising to increase hotel visibility and bookings.
  • Manage digital agency relationships and oversee campaign performance, ensuring strong ROI and efficient budget allocation.
  • Analyze data to refine targeting strategies and enhance conversion rates.

Performance Analytics & Reporting:

  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Marriott’s OneYield, Hilton’s GRO, and OTA dashboards to track campaign performance and booking trends.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on E-Commerce performance, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies that can impact E-Commerce strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in E-Commerce, digital marketing, or online revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Expertise in Marriott and Hilton branded digital systems (e.g., MDS, Hilton Digital, OTA platforms).
  • Strong understanding of OTA strategies, metasearch, SEO, paid media, and digital distribution.
  • Experience leading digital campaigns with proven success in driving direct revenue.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Experience working with multiple brands and ownership groups is preferred.
  • Familiarity with emerging digital trends, AI-driven marketing, and personalization strategies is preferred.
  • This role is based in our MCR Dallas office.
