A leading company in eye care seeks a Merchandising Leader to set and execute merchandising strategies across retail and e-commerce. The role focuses on enhancing customer experience, optimizing product presentation, and collaborating with various teams to drive revenue and profitability. General Summary
Set product merchandising strategies and executes that vision across brick and mortar and ecommerce to achieve revenue and EBITDA objectives. Accountable for optimizing the customer experience, creating merchandising standards across retail, ecommerce and wholesale channels, and manages new store product execution.
Pay Grade and Pay
Pay Grade: Full Time and Remote
Pay: $71,444.76 - $95,259.675
Essential Functions
Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and creative teams to optimize the online presentation of products, including images, descriptions, and pricing.
Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, site metrics and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize product placements and improve overall site experience.
Own product refresh and calendar, ensuring product pages, categories, and landing pages are optimized. Create in store visual guides to ensure visual strategies are executed with excellence.
Manage new store and acquisition product assortment execution including floorplans, product delivery, and project management.
Work closely with marketing, planning, category management UX, and sales teams to align messaging and reach a broader audience.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports
Experience in visual merchandising, product, or marketing, or related fields with a proven track record of leadership and achievement in similar roles
Proven track record over multiple years as Merchandising Leader, successfully driving sales and profits through the visual merchandising principles
Manage complex projects where independent action, high degree of initiative and coordination across departments is required
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Understanding of automated systems, data, and technology
Experience in leading process and system changes
Proven analytical, problem solving, presentation and negotiation skills
Skilled at building constructive and collaborative relationships with customers, industry partners, and colleagues
Ability to lead and inspire teams to accomplish goals
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties.
Working Conditions
