Job summary

Selvita is seeking a (Senior) Director of Business Development - Drug Discovery to drive growth across the US East Coast, selling integrated drug discovery services to pharma and biotech clients. You will own the client experience from first touchpoint to signed contract and tailor solutions with internal teams.

The role is open at Director or Senior Director level, depending on experience, with field-based travel up to 60% and a path to longer-term partnership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development / sales at a CRO or CDMO.
• Experience selling across all drug discovery markets from Discovery to Development.
• Track record of developing and managing client relationships.
• Strong BD and sales strategy planning and execution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for the US East Coast region.
• Prospect new accounts, plan outreach, and generate leads.
• Engage with clients, coordinate presentations, and support proposals.
• Own deals from first touchpoint to close with long-term relationships.
• Prepare client-specific presentations and coordinate internal delivery.
• Monitor market intelligence, pricing, and competitors.
• Promote complex drug discovery services to pharma/biotech teams.
• Represent Selvita at industry events and conferences.
