Job summary

Selvita is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Business Development – Drug Discovery to drive growth across the US East Coast corridor. You will sell Selvita's integrated drug discovery services to pharma and biotech clients and own the client experience from first touchpoint to signed contract.

The role supports strategic commercial initiatives, targets new accounts, and negotiates long-term partnerships to expand Selvita's market presence in the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development / sales at a CRO, CDMO or related field.
• Experience selling across all drug discovery markets, from Discovery to Development.
• Track record of developing and managing internal and external client relationships.
• Strong BD and sales strategy planning and execution, with a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, marketing and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable; works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial strategy and budgets for your region in collaboration with the BD team.
• Prospect new accounts, plan own schedule and generate leads through outreach and inquiries.
• Call on prospective accounts, provide technical information and support proposal generation.
