Job summary

Selvita, a global drug discovery partner, seeks a Senior Director of Business Development to drive growth along the US East Coast. You will identify opportunities, align offerings with market trends, and own client experiences from first touch to signed contracts.

This leadership role requires a strong BD background in pharma/biotech, a proven ability to build relationships, and expertise in strategic sales, negotiations, and industry representation.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Life Sciences.
• 5+ years in business development / sales at a CRO/CDMO or related field.
• Experience selling across all drug discovery markets from Discovery to Development.
• Track record of developing and managing internal and external client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial strategy for US East Coast region.
• Prospect new accounts, plan your schedule, and generate leads.
• Call on prospective accounts, provide technical information, coordinate presentations and support proposal generation.
• Own deals from initial touchpoint to close with long-term relationship mindset.
• Prepare client-specific presentations and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Track competitor pricing and offerings to size market potential and client needs.
