Job summary

Cloudflare is hiring a Sr. Director, Developer Solution Strategists to lead a global DSS organization aligned to sales regions. You will set strategy, standardize operating rhythms, and ensure execution from activation to expansion to commercial structure.

You’ll bridge strategy and hands-on deal guidance, partnering with field leadership worldwide and with product, finance, and legal to shape pricing, packaging, and plays.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in developer platforms, pre‑sales/solutions, deal strategy, or commercial architecture.
• 4+ years leading managers across multiple regions/time zones.
• Fluent in translating technical workloads into commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the global DSS strategy and operating model with goals, scorecards, and regional cadences.
• Build and lead a high-performing, distributed org with hiring, coaching, and development.
• Drive activation and expansion for priority workloads using usage telemetry and weekly regional updates.
• Standardize commercial design with global templates and ROI narratives; leave pricing with Finance/Legal.
• Run pipeline and deal reviews with global rhythm for triage, strategic deals, and win/loss analysis.
• Enable the field at scale with playbooks, calculators, and training; measure adoption and lift.
• Align with Solution Architects and FDEs to synchronize GTM with product-market fit.
• Close the loop with Product by translating field insights into recommendations.
