Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Sr. Director, Developer Solutions Strategists to lead an elite global team within the Developer Relations organization. You will set the global strategy, standardize operating rhythms, and ensure execution from activation through expansion to a commercial structure.

This leadership role requires fluency in both developer workloads and commercial mechanics, with the ability to guide from strategy to hands‑on deal guidance and to partner with field leadership worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in developer platforms, pre‑sales/solutions, deal strategy, or commercial architecture.
• 4+ years leading managers across multiple regions/time zones.
• Ability to translate technical workloads into commercial outcomes with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with usage telemetry and pricing/terms alignment with Finance/Legal.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global DSS strategy and operating model across regional teams.
• Hire, develop, and coach Solution Strategists in a distributed org.
• Drive activation and expansion using usage telemetry and strategic accounts.
• Standardize proposals and pricing discussions with Finance/Legal.
• Run pipeline reviews and surface blockers with Sales, Deal Desk, Security, and Legal.
• Enable the field at scale with playbooks, calculators, and training.
• Partner with Product to translate field insights into roadmap recommendations.
• Collaborate with startups and campaigns to scale regional self-sufficiency.
