Job summary

H1 is seeking a Sr. Director of Software Engineering for Data Streams to own the data feed delivery platform, govern data contracts, and drive a productized pipeline from onboarding to enterprise customers in pharma and life sciences.

You will lead managers, ensure accuracy, and partner across Product, Commercial, and CS to align on data schema and delivery timelines. You will shape the quarterly release cadence, own the QA framework, and foster a culture of reliability and trust in data

Qualifications

Over 12+ years in software engineering with 4+ years leading engineering managers.
Experience owning a data product delivered to external enterprise customers.
Proven track record productizing bespoke solutions into configurable platforms.
Deep understanding of data delivery, schema governance, and release management.
Familiarity with pharma or life sciences data feeds and contracts.

Responsibilities

Own the Data Streams engineering org, setting technical vision and culture focused on accuracy and reliability.
Lead DAM platform expansion from bespoke to template-driven productization.
Enforce data governance, quarterly release cadence, and schema contracts.
Engage with Product, Commercial, CS to align on data sources and delivery roadmap.
Manage managers, coach leaders, and drive incident response with root-cause analysis.
