Job summary

Skydance is seeking a Senior Director of User Lifecycle Analytics to translate complex data into strategic recommendations that drive subscriber growth and retention. You will lead a team of data scientists and analysts, partnering with Lifecycle Marketing, Product, and Finance to shape decisions and roadmaps.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience analyzing user journeys with causal inference frameworks. Knowledge of cloud data warehousing/BI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• 10+ years in data science/analytics with causal inference experience.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests at scale.
• Built or ran LTV, survival, or churn models with financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead causal inference frameworks (quasi-experimental methods, uplift modeling, instrumental variables, matching, diff-in-diff).
• Turn causal findings into actionable levers with Lifecycle Marketing and Product.
• Link content and journey optimization to ARPU, survival, and LTV.
• Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests across the subscriber journey.
• Build and maintain LTV and survival models with causal drivers.
• Lead subscriber journey mapping to identify highest causal impact on retention and monetization.
• Conduct pricing and promo analyses to balance short-term conversion with long-term value.
• Explain technical findings to non-technical teams.
