Skydance is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own global DTC subscriber forecasts and partner with data science and data engineering to build data pipelines and forecast infrastructure. The role is based in Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY and requires collaboration with stakeholders to drive informed business decisions.

You should have 2+ years in data analytics, strong Python/SQL skills, and a focus on data accuracy. This position is bonus eligible and offers comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or analytics.
• Ability to break complex problems into simple, coherent solutions.
• Extensive experience writing robust Python and SQL as part of a team.
• Robust attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to communicate concisely and persuasively with nontechnical stakeholders.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and the DTC business.
• Collaborate with data science to understand forecasting models and with data engineering to understand the data underlying models and forecasts.
• Create global DTC subscriber forecasts for regular business processes and strategic requests as they arise.
• Build data pipelines upstream and downstream of forecasting models, including forecast reporting pipelines.
• Diagnose variance against forecasts and communicate findings clearly, concisely, and convincingly to stakeholders.
• Partner with dashboard engineers to build and improve the forecast dashboarding environment for stakeholders and practitioners.
• Estimate the effects of important business decisions through subscriber forecasting.
