Job summary

Paramount Skydance Corporation's Global Content and Lifecycle Analytics team is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive causal inference studies and experiments that shape subscriber growth and retention.

You will own SQL/Python data pipelines, map the subscriber journey, run A/B tests, and present findings to senior stakeholders, partnering with Data Engineering and Product Analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science/analytics with hands-on causal inference or experimentation methods.
• Experience designing or analyzing A/B tests and understanding pitfalls.
• Solid SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for statistics.
• Experience with LTV, survival, or churn metrics.
• Strong communication to translate analyses for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Run causal inference analyses (e.g., diff-in-diff, matching, uplift) to identify drivers of retention and long-term value.
• Map the subscriber journey to measure impact of lifecycle, product, pricing, and promos.
• Design, set up, and analyze A/B tests across the journey with power analysis and read-outs.
• Build and maintain reporting and models turning journey optimization into ARPU, survival, and LTV metrics.
• Own SQL/Python data pulls, cleaning, and pipelines for causal and LTV modeling.
• Prepare clear presentations of findings for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product Analytics to ensure data quality.
• Stay current on causal inference best practices and mentor junior analysts.
